A $7 billion telecommunications company hired PCS to replace its non-Y2K compliant IBM mainframe systems. PCS took advantage of this change to achieve closer integration between contracts, billing, and customer services, with improved control over inventory. Oracle Applications were used for this $36 million project, which included modules for contracts, billing, AR, order entry, inventory, AP, customer service, HR, and GL. First, PCS analyzed the business requirements, then evaluated potential solutions, and lastly selected the application provider to implement a multi-division EBusiness Solution. PCS continued to support the partnership by providing Program Management, Project Management, Custom Development, and Implementation and Support Services. Success was achieved using Oracle Applications 11, Oracle Front Office, Oracle Back Office, and Custom Code.
